Tools required:
- 1x Phillips screwdriver
- 1x M3 nut remover
- 1x M4 wrench
Here are the steps to replace either a USB card reader or a player board inside each player box:
- Find a Phillips head screwdriver or drill.
- Go under the table top and unscrew the 4 screws attaching the player box to the table. 1 screw on each side and 2 screws at the back (closest to table base). Do this for the player box with the non-functional card reader.
- Pull the player box off the table base slowly and disconnect the USB and molex connector from the ports on the circuit board in the player box. These connect to the distribution board under the table, do not change anything on the distribution board.
- Remove the Player Board from the fitting by unscrewing the 4 screws. Please proceed to step 9 if you do not require a USB card reader replacement.
Loosen two M4 nuts using a M4 wrench on the front cover.
Remove USB card reader by removing two M3 nuts using a M3 nut remover. Remove old USB card reader.
Insert new/replacement USB card reader into front cover of Player Station sub-assembly and tighten with two M3 nuts using a M3 nut remover.
Put front cover on the player box. Tighten two M4 nuts using a M4 wrench. Make sure front cover is properly secured.
Install new/replacement Player Board and tighten with only 4 screws. The standoff at the front cover does not require a screw, as it will prevent the player board from fitting.
Plug 6in Mini USB 2.0 Cable to Player Board and USB card reader.
Plug in the USB and Molex connector into the player box. Screw the Phillips head screws back to the underside of the table top.
- Restart the table, ensure the light on the front of the card reader is illuminated white once the poker application opens.
I’ve also attached the hardware guide for your reverence to ensure you are familiar with each part of the table.
