Please follow the steps below for a factory reset of the Phillips monitor and advise if it made any changes to the backlight issue.
Please also follow the Configuration Reset steps to reinstate the monitor configurations required to operate the table, so the Configuration Reset steps are important regardless of if the backlight issue is solved. Factory Reset:
- Remove the player box from seat 9 with a Phillips head screwdriver or drill. There are 4-6 screws for the player box.
- Use the TV remote (you will have to install the AAA batteries we sent with it) and point the remote through the seat 9 player box hole at the monitor. The sensor is a little green light you can see by looking from underneath Seat 8 back into the seat 9 player box hole.
- Press the HOME button (picture of a house), then scroll down to Configuration 1, press the RIGHT arrow, scroll down to FACTORY RESET, click the RIGHT arrow, select RESET, click OK. Press theHOME button to exit.
- Once the monitor resets, power it back on and click the SOURCE button. It should automatically select the VGA input. Push the UP arrow until you get to DISPLAYPORT (the top option), and clickOK. The monitor should show the computer input now, ensure the computer is on.
- Please let us know if this changes the backlight issue.
Configuration Reset:
- Press the HOME button (picture of a house), then scroll down to Configuration 1, press the RIGHT arrow, scroll down to POWER SAVE, press the RIGHT arrow, and toggle both RGB and Video toOFF. Press the HOME button to exit.
- Press the HOME button (picture of a house), scroll down to Configuration 2, press the RIGHT arrow, scroll down to DP VERSION, press the RIGHT arrow, select DP 1.2, press OK. The top right of the screen should show a notification showing the screen is working in 60Hz.
- Once this is complete, please advise if there was any change to the backlight.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please let us know.
